It's been a busy March, but there's just one week until Spring Break!  Finish out the month strong!  YOU GOT THIS!! UPCOMING PLCs 4/1:   New ELA Standards Training #2 DATES & DEETS Our spring Dates & Deets calendar can be accessed here.  This includes many duplicate dates that can be found below and on the WS Master calendar on Outlook.  Despite our best efforts to plan ahead, there are times when events may shift and change.  We will always do our best to over communicate if there is a change. Dates & Deets SOR COACHING WEEK Angie is on campus this week for the last coaching week of the year.  This week, Angie will deliver the second training for the new ELA standards focused on the Foundations Domain.  All teachers who teach or support reading should attend PLCs this week to receive training #2.  Walks this cycle will focus on writing.  Katy has notified teachers if your classroom will be visited for walks. Excitement is Rising!

With just two weeks until spring break, students and staff are feeling the excitement of a little break around the corner.  Let's not lose our focus as we inch closer to the break.  Your intentional instruction and commitment to every student will result in HUGE progress for students.  New Q3 math data will become available to support small group planning, ensuring every student is provided opportunities for mastery of the grade level standard - OR extension when ready!  In grades 3-5, new Assesslet data has been (or will be) reviewed to support writing goals as you reach the final stretch to EOG.  & in reading, your daily small group instruction should be focused on the need of individual groups as students move through stages of reading development (decoding/encoding - fluency - morphology/vocabulary - text comprehension - & written expression).  If you need support in any area, or simply want a thought partner as you consider how to ensure master...

It was a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week!  We hope you felt all the love and gratitude for the work you do each and every day!   We are three weeks until Spring Break!  Over the next three weeks, continue to remain focused on our school priorities in reading, writing, and math - maximizing your instructional time each day for whole group and small group instruction.  Let's make the most of the next 15 days to see huge gains in student learning!
