EOGs Continue!

Bravo to our 3rd-5th grade students who worked hard all week on Reading/ELA EOGs!  Testing will continue next week with Math (3rd-5th Grade) and Science (5th Grade).  Thank you for maintaining quiet transitions to respect our students hard at work!  For our K-2nd grade classes, we have just two weeks remaining for small group instruction in reading and math.  Continue to use this time to support growth in the final push of the year!  Your intentional, data-driven planning will support students in meeting their individual growth goals.  If you need support with extension lessons/resources, please reach out to Katy.  Carla will share MAP assessment information next week.  & just 4 more Mondays left - where did the time go!? EOGs Begin!

Next week, our 3rd-5th grade students will enter test days which can bring big feelings.  You and your students have worked hard ALL year.  We are confident you have prepared them to SHINE bright & they will work to their fullest potential to show all they have learned this year.  For our K-2nd grade teachers, keep forging ahead with engaging learning to make the most of your instructional days before MAP. Last year, I shared these words in Stinger Stats during "testing days" - and they still feel relevant and true.   While everyday at the end of the year feels like there's another test around the corner, we also remind ourselves that our students are more than a test score - they are set apart by qualities like curiosity, enthusiasm, courage, leadership, creativity, resourcefulness, compassion, humor, motivation, empathy, and humility.  Despite the imperfections of assessment, we also understand assessment can help design academic goals for what our st...
