OUTDOOR LEARNING CENTER

Today, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for our Outdoor Learning Center!  There are a few smaller, student created, features that will be added to the space the next few months.  However, the space is ready for you to begin enjoying with your students.  The OLC includes 4 learning areas - 1) amphitheater, 2) flexible seating learning area, 3) table area, 4) learning gardens.  This will allow 3 to 4 classes to enjoy the space at one time.

We will create a shared Outlook calendar for reserving the OLC space for your classroom.  Look for this to come in the next few weeks.  Until the calendar is active, you're free to use the space as you see it is available!

FALL LDAs (Literacy Diagnostic Assessments)

Job well done to all of our classroom teachers and reading specialists for completing Fall LDAs without any hiccups!  Nearly 400 students individually assessed and data entered in just 6 days!  I cannot think of a more talented team of educators to prepare our students to become skillful readers.

A draft of small group assignments were created today with our admin team and reading specialist lead.  We will review these assignments and make any necessary adjustments during PLCs on 8/14.  However, if you wanted to take a peek ahead of Monday, you're welcome to do so at the link below.
