Great 3 days!!

It has been the most amazing start to the school year!  As we shared after Sneak-a-Peek, you have been nothing short of remarkable getting your classrooms set-up for the new school year.  Every learning environment is filled with so much JOY!  Approaching the first full week of school, remember the importance of establishing strong routines and procedures for your students.  Strong routines and procedures will maximize your instructional time later.  Next week, routines will shift focus to practice for small group instruction and independent practice in preparation for small group instruction to begin on August 14.

Take time to rest and recharge this weekend!  We cannot wait for our first FULL week!

BOY CHECKLIST

Continue to work on your BOY Checklist items.  The busyness of unpacking may have pulled you away from some important due dates.  Be sure to review the checklist and get caught up on items to complete.

FURNITURE FYI

Tables are NOT dry erase - this includes student tables, kidney, horseshoe, etc.  Please do not use dry erase markers to write on the table surfaces.  If you have, please clean off immediately.  Individual student desks are dry erase.  Please reach out if you have any questions.

LUNCHROOM

Beginning Monday, teachers can drop students off at the serving line and enjoy lunch in the beautiful new teacher's lounge!  Additional lounge tables are in route and should be installed soon.  Our wonderful cafeteria monitors are prepared to supervise students without our support.  Thank you for helping our students ease into cafeteria routines this week!

We do have a wonderful new cafeteria monitor, Ms. Bobbie, who comes to us from transportation.  She will join Ms. Tracey in the cafeteria!

Kinder - Paras can remain in the lunchroom for additional support.
