What a great week of learning! To K-3rd grade, thank you for your professionalism as Kendra shared a refresh of Year 1 & Year 2! FALL INTO JEANS
We are inching closer to Fall Break, which means it is time to fall into jeans! Jeans days every day next week!
SOR COACHING CYCLE 1 FOLLOW-UP PLC, 9/19
Kendra will be back on campus on Tuesday for follow-up to our first SOR coaching week. The agenda for each grade level was emailed yesterday afternoon.
4TH-5TH GRADE PLC, 9/19
4th Grade: Sara will lead a follow-up on POSSUM, the oral language/vocabulary strategy shared by Nik.
5th Grade: Nik will be on campus to lead his first SOR PD cycle with you!
STAFF LEAVE, 9/21-9/22
We will have MANY subs in the building on 9/21 & 9/22 for required district trainings, team extended planning time, and other pre-arranged staff absences. Please be mindful of this should something come up for you next week. It will be difficult to ensure absences not already reported to admin can be covered.
MEDIA VISIT, 9/21
We may have media visiting the building from 8:30-11:00 next Thursday. They would only be in Reading Specialist spaces, but wanted everyone to be aware there might be additional people on campus. All media will be required to sign-in at the front office.
BOYS SCOUTS BUZZ UP! 10/2
The Boy Scouts will host a recruiting event at WS on 10/2. This will include a VERY brief in classroom visit to share more with students. We tried hard not to interrupt your reading time! Please see the schedule below.
FALL FESTIVAL STAFF CHILDREN TICKET REQUEST!
If you need tickets for your children to attend Fall Festival, please complete the request form below. ALL staff receive FREE tickets for their children to attend this event! Tickets are only required for children K-5th grade. Please make your requests by 10/13.

REMINDERS FROM LAST WEEK!
TALENT DEVELOPMENT, BEGINS 9/11
Talent Development information was shared with homeroom teachers and parents this week. The first session of TD begins on Monday. TD Session 1 will end the week on 10/27.
FIELD TRIP PAYMENTS
The RevTrak store is NOW live! Please include in your next several weekly newsletters reminders to families regarding field trip payments. Field trips can be paid for the year, or before each trip. It is important we gather field trip payments from as many students as possible to ensure these experiences can be provided to our students.
TEAM EXTENDED PLANNING TIME
