Run, Run Rudolph!!

  Just like Rudolph, we are running all the way to the holiday break.  Just two days remain in our Holiday Cheer on Polk Street!  Look for a sweet treat and something to keep you warm this winter.  Stay well through the weekend and next week! LDA CLOSE OUT!! Bravo, kudos, job well done!!  We successfully completed assessments and compiled data in record time.  Thank you for your hard work to stay on top of these tight deadlines! SPRING READING SMALL GROUP DRAFTS, K-3RD GRADE Draft assignments have been made for spring reading small groups in K-3rd grade.  This information has been sent to each classroom teacher.  We will look at 4th-5th grade needs and placement next week. COMMON REFRIGERATORS Please take home (or toss) ALL items in common refrigerators in the school.  Anything remaining after 3:00 PM on 12/19 will be tossed. The elves were busy at work today, wrapping presents for all the hardworking teachers in the hive.  More treats & tricks (elf videos) next week for the best staff around.  The the meal prep planners, skip packing lunch on Monday & Thursday!!  You can even expect to bring home Kevin's favorite take-out dinner on Tuesday!! Next week, teachers will continue to administer LDAs & begin Math Q2 assessments.  Please be mindful ALL LDA data must be entered by 12/14.  If you need help meeting this deadline, reach out to us at any time!  We are happy to assist in any way! 12 days of Holiday Cheer has arrived to the hive!!  Each elf is making a list and checking it twice. Finish critical Q2 content Wrap up small group instruction (and prepare to begin again in January!) Administer LDAs & Q2 CFAs Data entry and report cards Serve the community & celebrate with your class family! We can see the elves are busy across the school and some feeling more tired than others. But the head elves are here, taking care of business and raising the Holiday Cheer in every corner of the school!!  Be prepared for surprise treats and tricks bringing the Home Alone Eras this holiday season!!  STINGER STORIES Read the latest edition of Stinger Stories shared with families yesterday afternoon here!
