Fall Break, yay!!

IT'S FALL BREAK - WHOOHOO!!  Whether you are enjoying the fall temperatures with a staycation, or heading out of town, I hope you take time to rest and reflect on ALL that you and your students have accomplished in the first seven weeks of school.  During this time, you have established routines and procedures to keep your instructional time focused, gathered assessment data on your students and used this information to plan for intentional small group instruction, implemented your first W&W Module, spent time learning about your new students to build positive relationships, and fostered a classroom community.  LOTS has been achieved in August & September!

AM ANNOUCEMENTS & WSSN NEWS

Automated PA morning announcements will begin on Monday, 9/30 at approximately 8:28 AM.  These announcements will only include the pledge and moment of quiet reflection.  Teachers can tune into WSSN at their convenience for the weather report, birthday announcements, and information about upcoming school events for students.

LUNCHROOM BATHROOM PROCEDURE

You will see a new bathroom procedure in the lunchroom. To limit the number of students in the restroom at once, students will move a magnet up as they enter and back down as they leave.  Students should still raise their hand to ask permission to use the restroom before getting up from the table.  Please review all lunchroom behavior expectations with your students when they return from break as a reminder of expectations.  And, please teach the new lunchroom bathroom procedure.
