Apple Treats & Jeans!
It's been a wonderful FULL week of learning! Teams are nearing completion of W&W M1 to prepare for mini-units before the start of W&W M2. Math units are also coming to a close for the start of new units. In reading small groups, continue to plan intentional STEPS lessons - addressing every STEP, every day! Next week, our 5th grade students and several support staff (including Mandy, Lindsay, Katy, Anna, and Carrie) will be on the annual Blue Ridge overnight trip - Fall edition. Please reach out to Christina, Carla, or T'Shunta if you have any needs that would have been met by Mandy, Lindsay, Katy, or Carrie!
Before we welcome Fall Break and Autumn, let's bring on all the apple treats & and jeans with a mid-week celebration!
Wednesday - Apple Pies & Jeans!
Thursday - Apple Nacho Bar & Jeans!

It’s finally that time! Microsoft is ending their support for Windows 10 requiring our laptops to migrate over to Windows 11 for security. If your laptop was given to you after June 2025, it already has Windows 11. Look for my email on Monday to choose an appointment time between September 16th and November 3rd.
Some of you will receive a notification indicating your laptop does not have enough storage available for the update. Mine is definitely in that group! If so, you will need to move unnecessary files to a thumb drive or upload them to Google Drive. Pictures and videos take up the most space, Fyi. Please get started! Thanks!
For you techies out there, our update will take up to 50
GB of free space remaining in Disk C.
