FALL BREAK CONSTRUCTION We will have several contractors on campus during Fall Break to complete asphalt paving, stain finishing in 200 & 300 wings, and punch list items.  The parking lot will be closed during Fall Break! HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH PROGRAM, 10/2 To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Bright Star Theater will be performing "Bienvenidos!" on Monday, 10/2 at 1:30 PM in the gym.  The show runs for approximately 45 minutes.  All teachers should remain with their class during the program.  You can find the teaching guide attached to the Stinger Stats email! 2nd Grade Teachers:  Please arrive to the gym at 2:10 to pick-up your class.  Specialists will bring students to the gym for the performance. Yay for three-day weekends!!  An extra weekend day is a great opportunity to catch up on rest, or plan that family fun day that has been on hold.  I hope you are able to make the most of your extra day this weekend!! It has been a wonderful first month of school!  Thank you for the grace and flexibility you have shown as Parrish continues to work on major punch list items.  There is still some work to be completed, but good progress is being made.  Ms. Sharlene received the serving line on Thursday, completing the kitchen.  I received notice that all floors (LVT and carpet) on the upper level have been replaced/repaired if damaged during renovation.  Please notify me by Wednesday AM if you have flooring that needs to be addressed (top floor ONLY at this time).  This final sign-off must be provided to Parrish by Wednesday afternoon.  The heavy rains tested our new roof, with only very two minor leaks in the building.  And, the power outage (not related to our renovation) tested our new
