EOG Continues!

Bravo to our 3rd-5th grade students for a job well done this week! Each of them worked hard during ELA & Science EOG Testing. Next week, students will continue with Math EOG Testing. Please ensure your classroom routines remain in place and your instructional days are thoroughly planned to minimize disruptions. I know we are inching closer to the last day of school; however, let's remain focused on finishing out EOGs strong! After a year of incredible growth and learning, we know our students are ready to shine in Math!

EOY CHECKLISTS

3RD-5TH GRADE!  EOG REMINDERS!

Students worked hard this week!  Please continue to keep students focused on doing their best as we finish out EOGs!  This includes maintaining regular morning routines and productive instructional time in the afternoon.

K-2ND GRADE!  EOG HALLWAY TRANSITIONS & WORKROOMS

Great job this week!  Please continue to be mindful of quiet hallway transitions to minimize disruptions to students testing in small group testing locations.  To help with this, please use outside paths to transition to lunch and specials.

All workrooms will be closed during EOG testing times, or until the building is free to return to normal business.  If an emergency arises and you need copies made during your planning time, use the front office copier.

FIELD DAY, 5/14 & 5/15

Coach Godleski has planned another fun filled West Side Field Day!  Please refer to the Field Day Schedule linked HERE for Field Day Rotations (select K-2 or 3-5 tab) & other lunch/specials logistics for these days.  A hard copy of the schedule will be in your box on Tuesday.  If you have any questions, reach out to Lindsay!

Staff can wear athletic clothing on Field Days.  Bring a chair and a wagon for easy toting of student water bottles.

Support staff will receive an email on Monday if they are needed in any specific location for field day.

We will hold the Fastest Kid Race on Friday, May 15 at 2:30 PM on the playground field!

Q4 REPORT CARD TIMELINE

Next week, Lindsay will send staff details about final report card postings.  Please note - there are some additional steps required during for final report cards specific to ALL teachers (HR, teachers, gifted).  This email should be read carefully to ensure the required steps are completed for state reporting.

WSSN!  HOW CAN I ACCESS THE WSSN EACH WEEK?

We have created a show page for teachers to easily access WSSN each week from your ViewBoard.  Follow these steps to create a shortcut to keep the show page one click away:

1. Open the WSSN Show Page
2. Click 3 dots on Google Toolbar
3. Choose Cast, Save and Share
4. Create Shortcut (It will appear on the Desktop)
5. When you open the Shortcut, click on the Monday morning date to access WSSN for that week!
6. Watch with your class. :)
