Roudin' Out Week One!
It was a great first week of school! Thank you for all your hard work making it a wonderful start to the new school year. I am grateful for each of you! Know that you are somebody special to each of our students and families! As we move into the second full week of school, continue dedicate time for explicit instruction in routines, procedures, and expectations. If you expect it, pre-correct it! Focus your time in positive reinforcement/praise (I like the way XXX has cleaned up their materials... thank you, XXX for showing you're ready) and explicit instruction of expectations. Live in pre-correction more than re-direction. :) Our reading specialist team will continue administering LDAs and entering data to prepare for reading small group assignments later next week.
